The playoff-bound Chicago Cubs plan to stoke the excitement of their long-suffering fans with a Daley Plaza 

cubs rally celebrating the team's post-season berth.

The cubs rally will be held from noon to 12:45 p.m. Tuesday at Daley Plaza and is to feature politicians and Cubs legends.

Actor Jim Belushi will emcee the event of cubs rally, which will include Governor Rod Blagojevich, Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, 

hall of famer Billy Williams, Cubs chairman Crane Kennedy and former third baseman Ron Santo.

Team officials say the cubs rally is a great way for Cubs fans to gear up for the postseason run.

The Cubs have not won a World Series in 100 years.
